Solar Eclipse on May 31, 2003

On Saturday morning, May 31, 2003, we were very lucky at our location between Heiligenstadt and Kalteneggolsfeld. Nearly no clouds are visisble shortly before sunrise. We had a beautful view far to the north-east. The towers on the top of Ochsenkopf and Schneeberg in the Fichtelgebirge are clearly visible.

The following pictures show the solar eclipse as seen with a Sony F707 Digital camera without any other help. For the last views a solar filter was used.
